  • The initial consultation will give me the opportunity to get to know you and what your fitness goals are. We will go over any injuries or health challenges you may have that could affect your PT program. During the consultation we will fill out the personal training forms and schedule your first personal training session. The cost of the initial consultation includes the time it takes me to design your personalized fitness program.

  • During your personal training session, I will take you through the fitness program I created based on your goals and current fitness level. I will explain and demonstrate the exercises within your program and then have you try them. This session is meant to help you become comfortable and confident with your fitness program. It also gives me the opportunity to successfully modify your fitness program based on your feedback and my observations.

    We can continue to meet for personal training sessions on regular basis depending on your availability. These following sessions will allow me to help you progress and modify exercises as needed. Meeting regularly for personal training sessions can be very beneficial to aid in program adherence, which gets you closer to achieving your goals.

Adrianna Horner met all the goals I set for her as a personal trainer in a surprisingly short amount of time. Over the course of a few weeks, I asked her to:
(1) Teach me to use the equipment in my gym (I was too intimidated to learn alone);
(2) Put together a workout I could follow on an on-going basis;
(3) Give me alternatives that I could do in a hotel gym, or in a hotel room, when on the road.
(4) Teach me an alternative program I could follow at home or in a friend’s home when I did not have access to a gym.

I recognized that all those requests were a bit much for our summer together, and gave her permission to do what she could and skip what she felt was less important.

To my amazement, Adrianna accomplished ALL my many goals.
(Full disclosure: I was already a participant in the on-going Better Bones and Balance class she was teaching at LBCC, so she did have a pretty good idea of what I could and could not do going in) . Nonetheless, I set out a list of dream goals, only a few of which I expected to be met.

Adrianna put in some behind-the-scene hours I did not expect her to put in and accomplished all my goals. I am amazed, thrilled, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Adrianna. She listens, takes notes, asks thoughtful questions, comes up with a plan for you, puts the plan in writing (so you don’t have to remember it), and modifies the plan as needed.

Finding the motivation to work out isn’t easy, but Adrianna is very inspiring. She makes you feel good about yourself and driven, even if you’re feeling tired, weak, or sore. One of my biggest hurdles with other personal trainers was their lack of true knowledge of how to help me reach my goals physically and psychologically. Adrianna takes a personable approach that pushes you, but not so far that you can’t make a habit of the routine. This is key to true success.
